Two quieter parts of a profile: boards, short pieces in a chalk hand, and the album, photographs with a line under each.
Boards
Profile ▸ Boards
A board is a short piece — a thought, a quotation, a day's line — shown in a hand, as if written on a board. They collect on your profile's Boards page, where readers can browse them.
Writing one
On your profile's Boards page, press New board. It opens with today's date as its name; write, and Publish. What you see while writing is what a reader will see. To change it later, open it and press Edit.

- 1Its name. Today's date to begin with, as Board — 2026-09-25. Change it to anything.
- 2Five chalks. Select some words, then a colour. Each colour carries a meaning, so a reader can learn to read a board at a glance.
- 3Publish. What you see here is exactly what a reader sees. Source shows the board's own HTML, for fine work.

A board is a note underneath, of the kind board, so it also lives in your Branchspace. You can write one there and publish it with the Private/Public switch like any other note.

The album
Profile ▸ Album
The album is a set of photographs on your profile, each with a line of your own under it.
Press Add a photograph, paste the picture's web address and write its caption, then Add to album. The address must start with https:// and point at a picture you already host somewhere. Branch Press links to it; nothing is uploaded.

Linked, not uploaded, deliberately. The photograph stays where you keep it, under your control. If you take it down there, it leaves the album too.
Who sees them, and how many
Public with your profile
Published boards and album photographs are public whenever your profile is. Make your profile private and both go with it.
The free plan includes one board and three photographs; Pro and Nerd have no limit. When an allowance is used up, the button stays where it is and says what a paid plan adds, rather than disappearing.
